Taking it slow.

So that's what it looks like in there!

I decided to open up to my broiler again. I know it will be worth it. Broiled deliciousness can come out of that drawer. I just jumped in too fast last time. I'm more cautious now, taking baby steps because that first time left my fish fried.
Vegetables! Shouldn't be too hard right? I had a bag of brussels sprouts in the fridge, so I busted them open, chopped them in half, coated them in olive oil and sprinkled them with pepper. I put a bit of water in the bottom of the broiler pan, once again turned the knob alllll the way around to broil and waited for it to heat up. This drawer has got to be useful for something other than storing my extra large pans!! I popped my brussels sprouts into the broiler, took a seat at my kitchen table, sipped some tea and awaited my roasted veggies.
8 1/2 minutes later, salivating with anticipation, I opened the broiler door...
Crap.
My brussels sprouts got burnt. Upon researching further into this AGAIN, it turns out I should of flipped my vegetables around 5 minutes in and then broiled to completion for about 4-5 minutes more. Who knew there would be so much to learn from my broiler?!!
